We aim to combine small genetic changes (mutations) with patterns of large and complex DNA alterations in malignant pleural mesothelioma. With this data, we will search for any associations with how the tumour forms, the processes active within the cancer as it progresses, and how this may impact response to treatment. These complex types of DNA changes are relatively understudied in this cancer type and our work hopes to improve understanding and treatment options for patients with malignant pleural mesothelioma in the future.
