The incidence and mortality of early-onset colorectal cancer diagnosed before the age of 50 years old have been alarmingly growing since the mid-1990s globally. We will be including colorectal cancer patients without known inheritance and group them based on the age of diagnosis. The aim of this study is to Investigate the mutational signatures per age of colorectal cancer onset. We anticipate that the findings of this study contribute to understanding the underlying factors contributing to the risk of colorectal cancer and will have some potential vital translational implications in risk stratification, diagnosis, and treatment according to CRC age groups.
